Last Saturday, August 16, a group of “highly engaged” friends booked the services of Old Mission Tours for an afternoon wine tasting excursion. As such, our group wanted to provide some feedback on your driver, Jim. Jim represented Old Mission Tours extremely well. He was courteous, professional, friendly, and very helpful to us in determining best locations. He served as driver and herder in getting us safely from one destination to another. And despite our rather loud interactions at times, never gave us the sense of being rushed or that his time on the clock was complete. Needless to say, Jim was our hero of the day and we will not hesitate in recommending both he and Old Mission Tours to others looking to enjoy the TC area.

Just got back from an amazing wine tour of Leelanau Peninsula! We had a fantastic time and it was well worth the money. (Which was a great deal!) Our driver, Jim Burnside was prompt, extremely courteous and very professional. Great conversation and knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. Would be a repeat customer in a heart beat! Although I don’t do many reviews I’m a consumer that votes with my dollar and believe in spreading the good word to others. It was obvious that Old Mission Tours values their customers and maintains old school values in how a customer should be treated. Awesome!

I just wanted to let you know how much fun my family had on the wine tour. We enjoyed every winery from start to finish and we couldn’t have asked for a more friendly driver. Loved the Old Mission Peninsula wine tour experience with Old Mission Tours! If you are a local or from out of town I would highly recommend Shawn and Jim Burnside’s Old Mission Tours. They picked us up right at our front door in their extremely clean van and we had a beautiful drive up the Peninsula to the beautiful wineries of the Old Mission Peninsula. We had private tastings waiting for us at each winery we visited and it was easy and seamless. Shawn and Jim really went the extra mile for me on our tour. They helped me set up the PERFECT marriage proposal recently. Excellent communication, they pulled every string they could to make our day perfect and special! They took high quality photos for us, and recommended The Boathouse Restaurant, which was amazing. I recently scheduled a wine tour with Old Mission Tours. It was wonderful because Shawn did all of the planning for me. I gave her a little guidance, and she made it all happen including some extras that I was not expecting. Since this was the first wine tour I had booked, I didn’t realize that the owners planning everything was not typical. I have since talked to others who said they had to tell their driver where to take them and when. It was much nicer to sit back and enjoy the tour without that hassle. Everyone had an amazing evening and Jim, our driver, was just wonderful. I would highly recommend Old Mission Tours. They definitely go the extra mile.
